About Jobnet - Information for organisations/ businesses
Jobnet is a free and unique service for employers and residents of Sheffield aimed at increasing the competitiveness of South Yorkshire's employers. It is funded by the Regional Development Agency for Yorkshire and the Humber, The European Social Fund, Sheffield City Council and Sheffield Employment Bond.
Jobnet is unique as Jobseekers are able to visit one of many Jobnet locations scattered throughout the city - providing access to an untapped labour force.
The Jobnet Skills Register is a detailed database of clients who have visited Jobnets across the city. This database contains comprehensive information from both clients and employers, and scientifically and methodically matches the most suitable candidate to each vacancy.
All clients registered are actively seeking employment and so are keen to fill your vacancies.
Clients are registered thoroughly and in-depth by experienced advisers, in order to ascertain the most motivating and suitable career choice for them. During the registration process key questions are asked, to which your vacancies will be matched. These are:
-
Aspirations
-
Skills
-

-

-
